Who we are

Built by people who’ve

Eight international students. One shared first night in an empty apartment. A marketplace born from that experience.

The moment

Every one of us arrived in a new US city, signed a lease, and slept on a mattress on the floor. No bed frame. No couch. Weeks before anything felt like home.

The problem
The existing options weren’t built for us.

Facebook Marketplace was full of strangers, sketchy meetups, and Venmo requests with no protection. Craigslist was a ghost town. Nothing spoke our language — literally or figuratively.

The idea

One shared mission.

We came together from big tech and marketing with one goal: build the trusted, community-first marketplace we wish had existed when we moved. Peer-to-peer. Escrow-protected. Bilingual by design.
